Even though receipts are generated based on received date, I assume they will process by priority date , if not what is use of priority date after filing I-485?
Gurus, any body know how USCIS will process 485 applications?
if visa dates are current or available per country limit, receive date will be, if retrogressed, the PD on or before cut off date will be the order.

Morchu's suggestion is a very good one. You file for a premium H1 with all the documentation and new approved I140. Can you share why your previous 485 was rejected?

Here is my complete details:
Company A:
I was on my 7th year of H-1B visa (6th year expired on Apr30th 2008).
Labor approved Dec, 2006.
I-140 applied in June 2007. (Got RFE regarding my Educational Transcripts
which we responded in time and USCIS received on Dec 5, 2007)
I-485 applied in Sep 2007
Got EID and Advance parole approved.
I-140 Denied on Apr 3 2008.
I-485 Denied on June 26th, 2008(Denied because I-140 was denied).
Applied for MTR (I-120 B)for I-140. But denied again on Feb, 2009.
Applied one more MTR (appeal)for I-140 on March 13th, 2009 (check cashed by USCIS.. receipt copy not yet received).
Company B:
This Company applied for my Labor (Perm) on Apr 21, 2008.
Got Approved on June 24, 2008.
H1 approved for this Company in July 2008 (Valid upto July 13th 2009).
Joined this company in Aug 2008
I-140 approved with this company Jan 2009.
Jan 23, 2009 H1 extension applied... Got denial notice on 30th march 2009 (dt.mar24, 2009)
Denial Reason: I-485 is denied in June 2008. So, I am not eligible under 104(c) or 106 of AC21 act.

IV is not for any particular nationals. While ROW is also affected because of retrogression, India and China are severely affected and there is hardly any movement in EB2/3 for India. The hard country limits in EB system and inability to capture unused visa numbers are just 2 of the many reasons responsible for retrogression. These forums have been misused by some people to advertise about their firm. May be the other member skimmed through the post and considered it a similar ad. OP has given a fitting response. If you are in consulting and traveling to a client site 50 or more miles away from your residence frequently (e.g., in your friend's case at IBM, it might be every week from Mon to Thurs), it is quite an old practice to disclose the site location, publish a notice at the client site (that you are on h-1b), file for an amendment etc. - nothing new here.

well you have to know that a sizable percentage of illegals are also criminals. My guess is 10-30%. you should know they have a bigger incentive to come here to establish "business"
No price is too much to deport criminals. As for the regular illegals, there may be a better solution to be debated.
The criminals should be put in the prison at country of origin. Well we have to pay the police anyway. With criminals there is no option of not spending.
1 way plane ticket - a maximum of $500-1000.
Put them in a police bus/army truck = 50-100 per head

I will be taking up a new job and I have been told by the new employer that, benifits will start after 30 days.
I presently have insurence through my employer. My understnading is that, insurence stops the day I leave the present employer. Now how do i handle the stop gap in insurence to be on safer side...??

You can choose to continue the insurance, the employer should provide this option. It looks expensive, but it is just for a month time, on the safe side, you can take this.

(140,000 + 226,000) * .07 = 25,620
