all my games, Gamesboys, GameCubes, my bike, tennis rackets and all. Since I am addicted to IV so much I don't have time to play.
My wife is so jealous that if she sees IV site on my PC she asks me to change goo(shit in English) filled dipers of our baby...:eek:

I have also had some issues with that too, the "real" thing in living color is spectacular, but when I capture it with the camera, it loses it's effect. Just wanted to let you know that your not alone on this one.

You have to get from your attorney or employer only. There is no other way you can get this. For joining for a new employer, the new job my be same or similar if you are using EAD / AC21 to continue GC processing.

Got a 221g (pink) from Chennai consulate because I have a Phd in biology. After almost 4 weeks the status on the website was updated to 'submit passport'. I have a couple of questions. If anyone who has gone through a similar situation, can answer, I would very much appreciate it..
1. I have been asked to submit the passport to VFS. How long did it take for passport to be returned with visa.
2. I have already gone through the security clearance. Do I need to go through PIMS clearance again?
Please...appreciate responses from those who have gone through this themselves..

The bulk of your ordeal is done...that is waiting for the Security clearance...
Security clearance is different from PIMS from what I understand... two different processes...with some luck you might already be cleared for PIMS...I guess you will have to submit your passport and see. Cheers...

I think interfiling is when you can 'attach' a second I140 with your 485 to capture an earlier PD or change categories
from EB3 to EB2...
Hello, I need your advice here. I have an old LCA, priority date 03/2003 that was stuck in the backlog center untill last week. Also, I applied through PERM for a new LCA that was approved and was able file I485 in July this year, just got the receipt numbers.
The new LCA has the priority date 04/2006 and is for an upgraded position. I heard that I might "interfile" and be able use the old priority date with the already submitted I485. Would you guys have any suggestions about it?. Any information that might help me?. Hopefully somebody outhere can help.

It's time for USCIS to implement the regulation. I suggest we as IV members or individuals, sent fax or mail to USCIS Director. Hopefully things will change and if not we do not loose.

yep EAD is linked to your 485 application and not your employer. especially after 180 days of 485 filing a lot people consider themselves free to jump the boat with very little to no issues.

I anticipate an inevitable situation arising out regarding my parents' health, that would require us to move back to India sometime in 2007. My EB2 NIW PD is Dec 2004. Does somebody out there with knowledge about issues and procedures connected with transferring from AOS application to Consular processing in India?

Hello!
I am in USA since the year 2005 on H1B with company A. I have spent more than 5 years in H1B and during Jan-2010 i changed my status to L1A. Now i have spent nearly 9 months in L1A and a total of 5.9 years in US. Now i am likely to get a job in company B. My questions are :
1. Is it possible for me to change from L1A to H1B again?
2. If it is possible to change from L1A to H1B, Is my 9 months spent on L1A will be added to my H1B quota of 6 six years? (i.e i already spent 5 years in H1B and and 9 months in L1A).
3. If this 9 months is NOT added to my H1 then i am okay but if it is added, will that be a constraint for me to apply for green card in company B. please advise.

Two I140 in process with a difference of one years in the priority date (one original and one recently filled substitution with improved PD). Which I-140 should be used for I485. IF PD goes back to retrogration, the substitution would help with a risk of getting reject as well. The original I140 has less risk but if PD goes in retrogration, it might get years to get I-485 approve. Suggestions?

Received the RFE today. It was asking for my birth certificate copy & translation. My lawyer says this is very common. For me this is stupid, they already got my birth certificate copy and the translation.

My parents came here on last saturday and the I.O at Port of Entry told them he's giving them 6 months to stay with me but when I looked at their passports, my mom's I-94 was stamped for only 3 months whereas my dad's passport was stamped for 6 months. If I go ahead and apply for 3 month extension for my mom when is the best time to do it? They have their return tickets in March and they don't have any intention to stay beyond that period. I was just wondering if it's just a stamping error of if they indeed has given my mom only 3 months. Attorney's please respond.

I could take upto 3 months of sabbatical partially paid (1st month:100%, 2nd,3rd-50%) - I am currently on H1 Visa and working for the employer who sponsered by GC. I would like to know if there is any effect of taking sabbatical on my pending I485 ?

Go to Airport for a defferred inspection. They will correct it. Many people here got it corrected. Don't waste time here for answer thomacha.........

At the POE the guy simply wouldn't understand when I tried to explain to him that I have an extension (797) valid from 4/10 t0 4/11. He gave me an I94 only until 4/10. I read that people go for deffered inspection and get it corrected. Anybody who did that in a similar situation active in IV now? Any suggestions on how to proceed? do you go to the nearest international airport or an off-airport location?

I have a question regarding Future Employment salary start date because my current salary is a little bit lower then the salary in PERM
and I-140.
I have approved PERM and I-140 with priority date in December 2005.

The future job salary in my approved PERM and I-140 is $30/hour
At present time I earn $29/hour.

Go to EAD . Work partimefor future employer and keep working partime for current employer. Once you go to EAD there is no fulltime and partime..Everything is employment
