Thanks jsb..In that case, I am changing jobs even without working for my GC sponsorer. I heard that it could potentially lead to fraud case.are you sure we can do this or do u know somebody who has done this.

GC sponsorship is always for a future job. Until your GC approval, if you are working for the sponsoring employer, you are there as a guest worker (on H1B, L1 etc.). It will be fraud if it is established that sponsoring employer did not really intend to employ you, and you did not really intend to work for them as a permanent employee, upon getting your GC.

Can someone tell me about the final interview for the EB based GC process.

1) Does everyone get called for an interview or is it done on selected cases based on individual factors?

2) When is it generally done? Prior to approval of your 485 or prior to the issue of your visa(GC).

3) Why is it done and what kind of questions can one expect during the interview?

How long is it taking now a days to get AP approval. I am from TX and e-filed on 2nd Oct (ND 4th OCT 2010) and want to know when I can expect the approval.

my spouse AP was approved last friday also from NSC and we recd the document just yesterday.

Once your I-140 is approved you can retain your Priorty dates. Even if the Company A revokes your I - 140 [ which they cannot do like that..they should have a valid reason to revoke anyones I-140 - either fraud or you are convicted for something ] . Now do you have the copy of your I-140 approval because that will be needed !

My LC application (RIR PD Oct 2003) from company A is pending in P-BEC. My RIR got denied recently in Nov 06 and my company informed me that they are considering to use TR->RIR conversion to upgrade the LC to RIR. Can somebody please tell me the process of TR->RIR converion? How long it takes? Pros. and Cons. ?Any help is greatly appreciated

Meanwhile company B filed an LC (RIR PD March 2005). This is also pending in P-BEC. But the lawyer has not received any case number nor 45 day letter.The lawyer is not giving much information. Can somebody please tell me the process?

Also, if there are no paystubs for that period, are there any implications in regards to GC processing or any other way ?

OzIn Some Cases USCIS may ask paystubs before approving the H1(So be careful with company A..you need them until you get the approval notice). In case of GC, couple of months will not effect the process.

It looks to me like they made a mistake on the valid dates for the new EAD. That happened to me last year, I received my new EAD card and it was only good for 1.5 months.
I had to mail them the card and after a couple of calls and some headaches they sent me a new EAD card, this time valid for 2 years.

People who are in US just for conversion rate can now think of this move. I USD = 39.4 INR, 1 Canadian $ = 37.xx. Not a big difference.

Dear Friends, I may be repeat the question which may asked by some one before, plz bear with me.

we received FP notice for me and spouse (not yet for kid (<5) ) which scheduled in Nov-24 at Charlotte, NC and we moved to CA months back.

1. do we need to call USCIS to change the location and date ?.

2. or can we go directly to the nearest ASC and request for it , showing the FP notice ?.

3. I have updated the address in USCIS using online AR-11 already.

Plz share your experience/advise...

If Everything set and once Your PD becomes current, Then you will hit the Lotto.
